Sonoma Wineries

So, before I forget, I wanted to list the wineries we visited this weekend. We had a great time, even though the pool was closed at the Doubletree. Also, it is in the middle of BFE- wine country my ass! We had to drive from Rohnert Park to Sonoma to get to the wineries, so we got to know one stretch of the road really well.

Anaba Winery- ok, easy location
Shug- ok, nothing special
Tin Barn- warehouse- Jay liked their Cab
Roots- meh
Gloria Ferrar- what is it with Champagne cellars? They always make you buy.
Larson Family- great location, good wine- they rent a house out on site

Day 2:
Nicolson Ranch- terrific property with Pepper, the friendly dog who wants to play ball. Amazing views, hands down the best.
Cline Cellars- This is the one I would recommend everyone visit. They offer free pours, and have the most amazing collection of pheasants I've ever seen. They also have all the model missions featured in the World Fair- we thought that was very timely since Spencer has to make a mission this year in 4th grade.
Jacuzzi Winery- I disliked the wine but the pours were free and the shops were terrific.
