Hibernation

Staying home and recovering from knee surgery is like hibernating. It's interesting to see who reaches out to me while I'm withdrawn from the world. Women are faced with an interesting choice- I can mold my life around my husband and son, or I can go out in the world of business and have something entirely separate from my family.

I like a nice mix of both, personally. My hope is that with my new business, I can structure a work day that is conducive to making money AND being there for my kiddo.
